POST BASIC BACHELOR OF NURSING (B.N.) PROGRAMME (3 Years)

The Post Basic bachelor Nursing Program (BN ) of Purbanchal University is a Three Years program, The program aims to prepare professional nurse with the highest possible technical and managerial competence in respective level of health programs, including problem identification, planning, implementing, training, Health education, evaluation and research. Such graduates can serve in various types of positions at national, regional, zonal, district, or local level. Such graduates will be needed in various kinds of governmental or non-governmental health agencies, communities, Hospitals, school, campuses and institutions.

Admission criteria:

• Candidate must have completed intermediate science or 10+2 or equivalent with biology, chemistry, physics, math and English as main subject and should have secured minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate.
• Physically and mentally fit.
• Must have completed 17 years of age.
• Must pass the Entrance Examination conducted by Purbanchal University with at least 50% marks.

Requirements for Admission

• Admission Slip
• Attested copies of mark sheets and Character Certificates of SLC and 10+2 or PCl equivalent.
• Four copies of PP size Photographs.
• Equivalence certificates if the candidate has certificates from university of board out side Nepal.
• Certificate of medical Examination.
• Duly filled admission form.
