BACHELOR OF NURSING (B. Sc.) PROGRAMME (4 Years)

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program (B.Sc. Nursing )  is a Four Year program, The program aims to prepare professional nurse with the highest possible technical and managerial competence in the respective level of health programs, including problem identification, planning, implementing, training, health education, evaluation, and research. Such graduates can serve in various types of positions at national, regional, zonal, district, or local level. Such graduates will be needed in various kinds of governmental or non-governmental health agencies, communities, Hospitals, schools, campuses, and institutions. Other areas may involve special responsibilities, e. g. working directly with local communities and individuals, working primarily with schoolteacher, administering health education service, and preparing health working in nursing fields. in general, the B. Sc. graduates should be able to carry out Faculty, Basic Level Researcher and Direct Care Provider.

Admission criteria:

• Candidate must have completed intermediate science or 10+2 or equivalent with biology, chemistry, physics, math and English as the main subject and should have secured a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate.
• Physically and mentally fit.
• Must have completed 17 years of age.
• Must pass the Entrance Examination conducted by Hope College with at least 50% marks.

Requirements for Admission:

• Admission Slip.
• Attested copies of mark sheets and Character Certificates of SLC and 10+2 or PCl equivalent
• Four copies of PP size Photographs
• Equivalence certificates if the candidate has certificates from the University of the board outside Nepal.
• Certificate of Medical Examination.
• Duly filled admission form.
